Merry Christmas

Update:  This never got posted, so I am posting it now.

It was from December 2008.

God bless you,
Brenda

Hello all,
I have a new year's resolution.  I would like to keep this blog updated on a more regular basis.
Since I last wrote Thomas has turned one.

He had alot of fun with his cake.
Here is a little clip of my boys being boys.  They are suppose to be winding down for bed.

We had Aaron's brothers, sister, and Mom for Thanksgiving.

Thomas just loved his Uncle Jered's baseball cap.

It's been a long time.

Hello all,

I really should be going to bed, but I felt that I needed to do this since it has been a long time. The last time I updated this Thomas was not even one yet. It has been a busy year. So much has happened.

Aaron still loves his job.

I have worked at a child center at a gym and as a nanny for eight months. I also work at a library for about 4 hours a week. I am going to have another child in March 2010 and am looking forward to it. I miss having a baby around.

Peter is learning to read. We are working on a book called Teach your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons. I can't wait until he connects that the words he has learned to read so far can be found in other books.

Thomas talks all the time and is now wanting to use the potty like a big boy. He probably will be potty trained before the new baby comes.

The pictures below were taken at a park on labor day.

We miss everyone and hope you are all doing well.

God Bless,
Brenda

Its been awhile ...

Hello all,

I am sorry it has been so long since my last update. My computer died and I had to figure out how to update the blog from Aaron's computer.

These pictures were taken of the cousins playing, when we visited in April.

Here is Thomas with his Great Grandma Teague and Great Grandma Ritchey.

Here is Peter looking like he owns the world.

These I thought were cute. Peter likes to climb onto the window sill. The sill is just big enough for him to walk across.

This was my first attempt at cutting Peter's hair. I think I did this in May.

We visited our friends in Michigan at the end of May. The first Picture is of Peter climbing into a baby swing. He would climb up the side of the swing set and pull the swing toward him and then jump in. Luckily I didn't see the first time he did this, because it would have scared me and I wouldn't let him do it again. By the time I saw him he was an expert, so I didn't have the heart to say he couldn't do it.

The picture of Thomas sleeping was the first time he fell asleep on his own. The second picture is thomas with a cow on his head, put there by Peter.

New York. I did it. I went to New York. Can you see the statue of liberty in the backgound. I actually survived driving in Manhattan. The only thing you have to remember is get out of the taxis way.
We wnt to New York on July 5 with my best friend Julia and Mother-in-law, Pam. It is about a four hour drive.

Peter's new favorite passtime is watercolor painting. I know I am his mother, but I think he does a very good job for three and a half. His pictures have lots of color and movement.
He continues to impress me daily.

Here is Peter trying to be as big as daddy. He wants to grow big so he can ride a water slide.

This picture was taken last night. I thought Thomas wouldn't be able to open it. I was wrong. Also Thomas has been walking pretty well for the last week. I will get a video of him walking next time, but here we are dancing.

God Bless. I love and miss you all.

Hello all,

These were pictures from March 8, 2008.

Here Peter is enjoying playing in our backyard. He was having so much fun picking the leaves up and throwing them in the air. It felt like it was fall all over again.

Peter is also my budding photographer. He took the next four pictures.

Thomas loves riding on my back. I often carrying him around this way. It is ideal when we are shopping. Sometimes you can see me holding Peter on my front and wearing Thomas on my back, especially on Sundays when Aaron sings in the schola.
Good Night and God Bless,
Brenda

Uncle Adam's visit

These pictures were taken on February 28, 2008. Aaron's brother Adam visited for the evening while he was interviewing for a business school in Pennsylvania.

Peter telling his uncle about the finer points of working out.
Here Peter is showing him how it is done.

Peter's Uncle helps Peter do a chin up.

Thomas hanging out with his uncle.

It was really fun to have Adam visit with us. I hope he can come back again soon.

God Bless,
Brenda
